  • Connect the router with the modem with the LAN or Ethernet cable.
  • You must select the LAN port of the modem and WAN port of the router.
  • Now, turn on the devices, and connect the computer or laptop to the router via LAN cable.
  • Open the browser and enter the IP address 192.168.10.1 or URL wavlogin.link or ap.setup in address bar.
  • Search by pressing the Enter button and you will get to the interface login window, here enter the admin credentials.
  • Mostly, the admin username is admin and password is also admin, just type in and click on the LOGIN button.

Change Password via Ap.setup

Access the Wavlink extender or router interface and choose Setup/Settings option in it. You have to choose the internet settings and here click on the Wireless Networks tab. Here you can add new username and password, and then SAVE it.

Update Wavlink via Ap.setup

To update the firmware you just have to access the interface using the admin credentials. choose Setup or Setting option and click on the Firmware Upgrade tab. Here, you just have to search for new updates. Then just click on the Install button.

Use Updated Web browser

The web browser must be updated and disabled ad-blocker for temporarily. The update can be done easily. You have to go in to the browser Settings, here click on the About tab. Inside the About tab, you will see the Update option just select and click on the UPDATE button.

Use Correct URL or IP

The URL and IP address is easy to remember and easy to log in, but sometimes user can use it wrong like 192.168.I0.I or 192.168.10.I. the correct IP address for the login is 192.168.10.1 and URL is ap.setup. Just type it in browser and search to get into login page.

Ensure Wavlink Network Link

The extender and router network can be accessed through the SSID as well as LAN cable. The interface works when your computer or laptop is connected to the Wavlink network. You can’t access the GUI window from other route or extender network.

Change Password for Security

You must change the WiFi Wavlink device password (WiFi as well as admin) to increase the WiFi security. The passwords can be changed from the ap.setup login interface. Just access it through the username and password, and go in to the Settings to manage the passwords.
